Walking with Jesus Lent Family Experience
Sundays, February 22 and March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29
9:00am - 9:45am
Join other Kairos families each Sunday morning during Lent as we "walk" with Jesus and prepare ourselves to celebrate the resurrection. The Experience is open to all families and is targeted to pre-k and older children and their parents.
We meet downstairs in the student ministry room.
Treasured
Mondays, February 9 and 23, March 9, 16, 23, and 30
7:00pm - 8:30pm
Treasured is a six-session study for tween girls (4th - 6th grade) and their moms. The goal is to initiate meaningful connection and purposeful conversations about things that matter between moms and daughter during these critical years. We generally offer this every two years to our 4th and 5th graders but skipped last year, so we are including 6th grade girls this year. Each session features a short video and conversation about and activities related to one of these topics...

Level Up
Thursday, February 26; Mondays, March 9, 16, and 23

Level Up is a four-session study for tween boys (4th – 5th grade) and their dads. This study helps dads and sons address important questions during this season; questions like:

Who am I?

Who are my friends?
-
What do I feel?
-
What is faith?
This four-session study will help boys ages 9-13 navigate these important questions alongside their dads and/or other father figures in their lives.
Each session features a short video and conversation and activities.
We hope you and your son will join for all or as many of the sessions as you can.

Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 28

Abernathy Greenway Park
Bring your friends and neighbors to Abernathy Greenway Park (70 Abernathy Rd NE, Sandy Springs) for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. We'll have crafts and games, hunt eggs, and play on the playground. Activities begin at 10:00am, and the hunt is at 10:30am. All ages welcome.
*Note that this is the Sunday before Palm Sunday, not the day before Easter as it has been in previous years.
Camp Kairos
Monday, June 8 - 11

Camp Kairos is a missions and service camp for children who are currently in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Camp enrollment is limited to 13 children due to the types of experiences provided.
Each day’s activities will include a variety of interactive, active, and engaging experiences and opportunities for kids to live and love like Jesus, caring for creation and serving in their families and communities (neighborhoods, schools, sports teams, etc.). While experiences and activities are still being confirmed, they may include working in a food pantry, leading Bingo with older adults, assembling toiletry and/or snack bags, gardening, and preparing lunches.
Camp will be based at the Kairos building but will include off-site experiences. Transportation will be provided by Kairos staff and/or adult volunteers.
The cost for camp is $125 per child to cover the costs of transportation and materials. Payment is expected at the time of registration.
*We do not want cost to prohibit any Kairos Kid from participating. Please contact Jan if a scholarship is needed.
Friends are welcome as long as space is available.
