Our speaker for this Gathering will be Ashlyn Ellington, therapist and Kairos member. She shares…
It’s no mystery that we all have emotions…but sometimes its hard to understand why your child is experiencing an emotion, why its so intense, and how to react to it. When emotions are high… whether it be a toddler tantrum or a fight over screen time… children have a hard time expressing why they are upset and an even harder time problem solving the emotion. Together lets learn some practical skills to help kids of all ages (including us!) to self-regulate without crushing the emotions, spirit, and personality that make them uniquely them.
