Family Advent Night (Journey to Bethlehem)

Advent is the season of waiting – waiting for the coming of God. It is also a time of preparing our hearts and minds to celebrate Jesus’ birth. Our Family Advent Night (Journey to Bethlehem) is designed to equip and encourage your family through a variety of experiences and activities to truly celebrate Jesus’ birth. Several of our activities will help us share the good news of Jesus with others, including our neighbors in need and children who are hospitalized.

Bring your friends and neighbors and join us on Sunday, December 8.

Beginning at 3:30pm..
Enjoy hot chocolate and decorate cookies.
Visit with the nativity animals.

From 4:00pm to 6:00pm, choose from activities including…
Add to or begin your family’s block nativity set.
Paint canvases that will hang in our sancutary gathering space during Advent and Christmas.
Pack birthday bags for children served by the Community Assistance Center.
Make your own Advent wreath.
Dress in Biblical costumes and act out the story of Jesus’ birth. (Great photo opp!)
Design cards for children hospitalized at CHOA.

The cost is $25 per family. However, we do not want cost to keep any family from participating. Please click here to pay what you are able online once you have completed your sign-up.
