A NOTE FROM YOUR PASTORAL STAFF

There are many things I love about Christmas: fresh baked cookies, time with friends and family, parties, and don’t forget the gifts!  I also think the Christmas season is a great time to be around the church with many special activities and services that carry the themes of Christ breaking into our world.  This Sunday is our long-anticipated Lessons and Carols service where we experience the entire story of Christ’s birth through the singing of classic Christmas carols and hearing the story read aloud to us.  As an added incentive to attend, this will be Micah’s last time leading this service for us.

Following our Lessons and Carols service, we will have a reception for Micah and the Dalton family to celebrate their lives and ministry here at Kairos.  We have been incredibly blessed by Micah’s pastoral and worship leadership for many years over two different stints on staff.  Join us as we affirm and encourage Micah and his family before he starts the next chapter of his life.

We will come back together at 5:00 pm on Christmas Eve for our candlelight service to celebrate the birth of Christ.  I’m not going to give away what it is, but there will be a gift for all of the kids which will help your family celebrate all Twelve Days of Christmas!
