Later this month Taylor Pendley will be joining the Kairos community for eleven weeks this summer. Taylor was accepted into the Atlanta Associates Program, facilitated by several from the Kairos community. The Atlanta Associates Program is a summer internship program for current undergraduate students. The program is available to college men and women, and seeks to provide associates with opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of their identity, purpose, relationships and faith. These interns live and grow in community together, and are provided with excellent mentoring. Each intern will have a summer work experience in a field where they desire exposure and experience. This summer, Kairos has been asked to provide a work/ministry experience for Taylor, so that he can explore his pastoral and vocational ministry identity. The staff and Leadership Team believes this will be an enriching and mutually beneficial experience for both Taylor and Kairos. As Taylor will be new to our community and only here for the summer, we ask that you extend to him a warm Kairos welcome when arrives later this month.
