Easter Testimonials

Kairos Community,

Kairos has a tradition each Easter of inviting one person (or couple) to share a testimony to where they have encountered the resurrection in their life. We have always believed it was important to not force people to present their experience as a “success story” or as if their journey was completed or free from pain. Instead, we encouraged people to step out in faith and proclaim where new life is bursting forth even in the midst of difficulties and unknowns.

This year, because we will not be able to gather for worship communally in the traditional way and all of us, in our own unique way, are in a difficult season, we thought it would be wonderful to flip the script. Therefore, this year’s Easter Testimony will be communal. It will be made up of a collection of personal reflections where each of us has encountered the resurrection.

All we need from you is a short (less than a minute) video of where you have encountered “new life” in the midst of this quarantined season. Feel free to provide authentic context about the challenges and anxiety you have faced too. Even with God showing up in our midst, we don’t need to pretend this is easy. Finally, we know this crisis is affecting people in different ways, and we would love to be able to capture the full breadth of those in this video. So whether your story is truly a testimony to God coming to be with you in darkness or it is God showing up in a more mundane but still meaningful way, we would love for you to step out in faith and share how God is on the move.

Grace and peace,

Drew
